[LENORA CAPTOLA ADAMS (1871) married GEORGE WASHINGTON ADKISON (1870-1905). Their children were: CHARLOTTE BELL ("Lottie") SNYDER, HARVEY H., ELLA MYRTLE, WINIFRED MAE ("Winnie") & ETHEL BERNICE ("Red") RIDGEWAY & INEZ VIRGINIA. The family has a story that was passed down through the generations about Geoge W. Adkison's early death. Evidently a family acquaintance had a 'vision' of his death the night before and told them "not to let George go to work the next day", but they laughed at her ideas. He was an oil pumper and the long "tails" of his heavy overcoat were blown by the strong wind into a large wheel. It pulled him into the wheel where he died a short time later.]
